Industrial Maintenance Safety Manager needed - Cleveland Cliffs/Dearborn, MI
Code Red Safety is looking for a safety supervisor to oversee maintenance projects at the Cleveland Cliffs plant in Dearborn, MI. This job will start ASAP on a 1099 through Code Red Safety working a standard 40 hour/week with occasional overtime for outages. You may also be required to travel to the Toledo, OH plant from time to time. Performance pending, after 6 months’ our client will hire the candidate directly as their W2 employee. Previous safety management experience within a steel mill environment is highly preferred. Local candidates only as there is no per diem available.

Applicants MUST meet the following requirements:
- Previous safety experience overseeing iron workers
- Have one of the following certifications: OSHA 30, OSHA 510, OSHA 500, CHST, or similar
- Have a current FA/CPR certification
- Must be able to pass a drug test & background check
