Safety Assistant needed - Chicagoland area
Chicago, ILCode Red Safety is looking for a Safety Assistant to provide field safety support on construction sites across Chicagoland. This job will start ASAP on a 1099 through Code Red Safety working 40 hours/week. After 6 months, performance pending, our client will hire the candidate directly as their W2 employee. Fieldwork will include safety inspections, observations, and audits. You may also be involved with safety training. You must have dependable transportation to get to various locations across Chicagoland and will occasionally be driving to sites in the Western Suburbs. Local candidates only as there is no per diem or relocation available.

- A college degree in Occupational Health and Safety or similar is required
- Must have the OSHA 30 and a current First Aid/CPR certification
- Must be able to pass a drug test & background check.
